Getting to Corchanu from the UK

There are three airports you can use to get to Corchanu. The most convenient is Lyon Satolas, a two hour drive away. Alternatively, you can get a train from Lyon to Chagny, just a five minute drive from Corchanu, or Chalon-sur-Saone, a fifteen minute drive away. There are no car hire facilities at Chagny, but taxis are available. Car hire is available at Chalon.

Geneva airport is a two and a half hour drive away, or you can catch a train to Lyon.

The third alternative is to fly to Paris. If you decide to hire a car, the drive from Paris to Corchanu takes about three and a half to four hours.

One TGV train a day runs from Charles de Gaul airport to Le Creusot, just a 30 minute drive from Corchanu. There are several car hire operators at Le Creusot, and taxis are also available. There are also several trains a day from Gare de Lyon that stop at Le Creusot. The metro connects CDG with Gare de Lyon. The train journey from Paris to Le Creusot takes approximately an hour and a half.

Public transport in the area

The best way to see the area is by car. However, a bus runs from Chalon to Auton via Santenay, and you can catch a train to Lyon or Dijon from Chagny or Chalon.
